What a wild campaign season we’re living through. Cratering presidential approval ratings. Foreign and home-grown disinformation campaigns. Data centers, Iran, gas prices, fears of ICE agents at the polls, and so much more. Is your head spinning, too? Then let’s get together and talk it through with some of Mother Jones’ smartest and savviest journalists, including voting rights correspondent Ari Berman and Tim Murphy, who focuses on power-building and organizing. They’ll answer your questions in an online discussion. Ari has been closely monitoring attempts to interfere with the election, such as voter intimidation and disenfranchisement, while Tim has been reporting on some of the closest campaigns in the country, including the US Senate contest in Texas and the gubernatorial race in Iowa. The discussion will be moderated by Monika Bauerlein, CEO of the Center for Investigative Reporting, which produces Mother Jones. Participants are welcome to submit written questions in advance to swherley@cir.org or during the October 20 webinar. The discussion will run for 60 minutes, and we hope you can join us.
