Canadian poet Anne Carson wins 2026 Nobel Prize in Literature

Anne Carson was among the bookies' favourites to win this year, as her body of work eschews easy categorisation.The Nobel Prize committee singled out her “bold and inventive oeuvre that, in playful dialogue with the classical tradition, has created new forms for contemporary literature.”
